Common invoice sending errors
Last updated July 16, 2026
If an invoice fails to send, a few things are worth checking before assuming something is broken.
First, check the recipient's email address on the invoice itself. A typo here is the most common cause of a failed send.
If you have set up custom SMTP on Momentum or Apex, an incorrect server address, port, username, or password will cause sending to fail. Go to Settings, then Email, and send a test email to confirm your SMTP details are still correct.
If you have hit your plan's monthly invoice limit, BizOS will let you know rather than silently failing. If this happens, you can either wait until your limit resets the following month or move to a plan with a higher or unlimited invoice count.
If none of these explain the issue, contact support at hello@ai1team.com with the invoice number and roughly when you tried to send it, and someone will look into it directly.
