Importing contacts with a CSV file
Last updated July 16, 2026
If you already have a spreadsheet of customers, you do not need to add them one at a time. CSV import lets you bring your existing list into BizOS in one step. This feature is available on Momentum and Apex.
Start by exporting your existing contacts as a CSV file from wherever they currently live, whether that is Excel, Google Sheets, or another tool. Then go to Contacts and choose Import.
BizOS will ask you to match the columns in your file to fields like name, email, and phone number. Take a moment here to make sure each column lines up correctly before confirming, since this is the step that determines how your data lands.
Once you confirm the import, your contacts are added to your account. If any rows have errors, for example a missing name, BizOS will let you know which ones so you can fix and re import just those rows rather than starting over.
Keep in mind your plan's contact limit still applies. If your import would put you over the limit for your plan, you will need to either trim the list or move to a higher plan first.
